This Privacy Policy describes how QuickTranslate — Instant Text Translator ("the Extension") handles user data.

Data Collection

QuickTranslate does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The developer has no access to any information about you or your browsing activity.

How Translation Works

When you select text and click the Translate button, the selected text is sent directly from your browser to Google Translate API (translate.googleapis.com) to perform the translation. The result is displayed locally in the extension popup and is never stored anywhere — not on any server controlled by the developer, and not in your browser beyond the current page session.

Permissions Used

• storage — used only to save your preferred source and target languages (e.g., "Russian") in Chrome's sync storage. No personal data is involved.
• translate.googleapis.com — used solely to call Google's translation service. No data is logged or retained by the developer.

Third-Party Services

Translation requests are processed by Google Translate. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how Google handles data sent to its services.

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
